David Greagg

David Greagg is a Melbourne-based writer who thinks books should have happy endings. He has earned a living in a number of bizarre and improbable ways, and was for many years the business and media manager for his Beloved Kerry Greenwood (as seen on TV).

His previous books include It’s True: Burke & Wills Forgot the Frying-Pan, It’s True: The Vikings Got Lost, and with Clan Destine Press Dougal's Diary, When We Were Kittens, and Harry the Fifth. 

He once paid for a whole year’s rent by winning the Shakespeare scholarship at his university. He is also a mathematician, medieval warrior, leg-spin bowler and accredited wizard.

He speaks a number of tongues with widely varying degrees of expertise, and thinks more people should learn to speak Latin. At various times in the future, he will do other equally unpredictable things.
